Pakistan’s Defense Minister Blames Previous Regime for Country’s Terrorism Spread

Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Pervez Khattak, accused the previous government of spreading terrorism in the country. In a recent press conference, Khattak stated that the former regime had supported and funded terrorist organizations, which caused havoc and bloodshed in the country. He claimed that the current government has been working tirelessly to counter terrorism and bring peace to the region.

Khattak also stated that Pakistan had suffered immense losses due to the previous regime’s flawed policies. He emphasized that the current government’s approach towards terrorism has been much more effective, as evident by the decrease in terror incidents in the country.

The defense minister also announced that the government has initiated a comprehensive plan to ensure the eradication of terrorism from the country. The plan includes intelligence-sharing and cooperation with other countries to curb the funding and support of terrorist organizations. Khattak concluded the press conference by reaffirming the government’s commitment to achieving peace and stability in the region. He called for the international community to support Pakistan’s efforts to counter terrorism and promote peace in the region.
