Pakistan should stop terrorism, according to Surinder Choudhary.

Jammu and Kashmir’s Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, condemned the conspiracies originating across the border, stating that they are “killing our children.” He urged Pakistan to abandon its “terrorism,” asserting that violence will achieve nothing.
Speaking to reporters after a wreath-laying ceremony for Head Constable Jagbir Singh at the police headquarters in Gulshan Ground, Choudhary expressed hope that Pakistan would reconsider its actions, bringing an end to the three-decade-long militancy.
The ceremony was led by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and was attended by Singh’s family, as well as senior police officers, including the Director General of Police, Inspector General of Police (Jammu Zone), Bhim Sen Tuti, and officials from the civil, police, Army, and CRPF forces.
Choudhary extended his condolences to the bereaved family, emphasizing that both the central and Jammu and Kashmir governments would never want to see their children martyred. He pointed out that the region’s children have been falling victim to cross-border conspiracies for over 30 years, yet those responsible have gained nothing from their actions.
He also remarked on the self-destructive path taken by the country sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, expressing hope that reason would eventually prevail, leading to an end to the sponsored militancy. Choudhary stressed that neither Jammu and Kashmir nor India would be weakened by terrorism.
In his tribute to the fallen officers, he acknowledged their sacrifice, noting that their loss had deeply affected the entire state. The fallen policemen, who hailed from different communities, included one Muslim and three Hindus.
