According to a Swiss UN ambassador, there is no magic cure for the Afghanistan situation.

Pascale Baeriswyl, the ambassador of Switzerland to the UN, said that there is no quick fix to the Afghanistan problem and described the current predicament as a “very difficult dilemma” to resolve.
After her nation initially assumed control of the UN security council leadership, Baeriswyl told reporters at the UN headquarters, “We do not have the magic solution to that.”
“I sincerely hope that a discussion about how to handle the situation results from the Doha meeting.”
The UN chief criticized extraordinary restrictions on the rights of Afghan women as the two-day UN-convened discussions in Doha came to a conclusion on Tuesday.
