Baloch rebels kill seven Pakistan Army personnel in Balochistan

Balochistan Liberation Front has come forward to claim responsibility for the attacks on Pakistani military personnel in Jhaoo and Mashkay on July 31 which led to the death of three personnel and injured one.
The Balochistan Liberation Front spokesman, Gwahram Baloch, in a statement to the media said that Sarmachaars (Baloch freedom fighters) attacked the Manguli check post in Mashkay Valley with snipers and heavy weapons, killing three personnel and injuring one.
Accepting responsibility for another attack, he said a Pakistani army patrol team was ambushed with automatic heavy weapons by Baloch guerilla fighters at Nondara area of Jhaoo at 8 am on the same day.
The attack took place as a group of 10 on-foot occupying army personnel were advancing towards Daraj Kaur (river). In the ambush, four Pakistan army personnel were killed on the spot and two others were injured.
In a media release, Gwahram Baloch added that these attacks will continue till the independence of occupied Balochistan.
The Baloch fighters have been frequently attacking Pakistani troops for months now.
On May 7, six Pakistan army soldiers including an officer died in a landmine blast in southern Balochistan. The explosion, triggered by a remote-controlled device, went off on the road 14 km from the Pakistan-Iran border.
On June 6, Baloch fighters attacked a military camp and its outposts at Ata Muhammad Bazaar in Jahoo area of Awaran district with rockets and heavy weapons. At least six Pakistan soldiers were killed and more than twenty others were injured.
