Kashmir Black Day is observed in Balochistan.

The people of Balochistan observed Oct 27 as ‘Kashmir Black Day’ in solidarity with the Kash­miri people holding demonstrations in various districts and towns on Sunday.

Apart from Quetta, the protest rallies took place in Gwadar, Khuzdar, Kalat, Loralai, Dera Murad Jam­ali, Nos­hki, Chaman, Kha­ran, Qila Abdullah, Pishin, Har­nai, Sibi, Usta Muha­mmad, Jhal Magsi and Hub, among other areas.

The participants carried banners and placards, chanting slogans against Indian atrocities in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, according to a news release.

The demonstrators strongly condemned the violence and brutality against the Kashmiri people and reaffirmed their determination to support their right to self-determination. They termed Oct 27, 1947, as a dark day in history, and marked 77 years since Indian forces entered the State of Jammu and Kashmir, initiating decades of represion.
